Effective root canal treatment requires identifying exactly which roots are infected and mapping their complex anatomy.

- Digital X-Rays & 3D Imaging: We use high-resolution digital X-rays or small-field CBCT scans to visualize the roots of the affected tooth, checking for hidden canals or abscesses in the jawbone.
- Vitality Testing: The endodontist will gently test the tooth’s response to temperature to confirm if the nerve is irreversibly inflamed or necrotic (dead).
- Treatment Planning: We will determine if the root canal can be completed in a single visit or if a temporary antibacterial dressing is needed for a few days before sealing it.

The Clinical Process:
- Profound Anesthesia: We ensure the tooth is completely numb before beginning.
- Microscope-Assisted Cleaning: Using a dental microscope, the specialist locates the tiny canals. Flexible, motorized rotary files are used to gently clean out the infected nerve tissue and shape the canal walls perfectly.
- Antibacterial Irrigation: The canals are flushed with specialized antibacterial solutions to eliminate all bacteria.
- Sealing: The clean, empty canals are permanently filled and sealed with a biocompatible rubber-like material (Gutta-percha) to prevent re-infection.

The Final Steps:
- Core Build-up: If much of the tooth structure was lost to decay, a small post and composite filling material are used to rebuild the core of the tooth.
- Zirconia or Porcelain Crown: In almost all cases (especially for molars), we strongly recommend placing a custom-milled Zirconia or E-max crown over the treated tooth.
